InterContinental Malta, an IHG Hotel

My experience at was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel itself was stunning—elegant, immaculate, and thoughtfully designed. The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, the kind that makes you pause and just take it all in. Breakfast? Honestly, it was out of this world—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully curated. I can confidently say it was one of the most delicious hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. Every bite felt like a small luxury. But what made this stay truly unforgettable was the concierge team. They recommended a trip to the island of Gozo—and I can’t thank them enough. That day turned into one of the most magical experiences of our lives. We created memories we never thought we’d have, the kind you only see in movies or dream about on quiet nights. It was surreal. This trip wasn’t just a getaway—it was a core memory. And IHG played a huge part in making it happen. I can’t wait to come back.

Last week, we had the most wonderful experience staying at this exceptional hotel in St. Julian's, Malta! From the moment we arrived, everything felt just right. The staff were incredibly warm, professional, and genuinely attentive – always ready with a kind smile and thoughtful suggestions that made us feel truly welcomed. We stayed in a Junior Suite, and it was absolutely stunning – immaculately clean, spacious, and luxuriously comfortable. The large bathroom had both a walk-in shower and a beautiful tub, and the walk-in closet was fully equipped with all the essentials. Everything about the room felt elegant and thoughtfully designed, just as you'd expect from a true 5-star hotel. The view from our room was breathtaking – a peaceful combination of garden, sea, and pool. And speaking of pools, do not miss the rooftop infinity pool – it’s simply out of this world! Floating above the city with panoramic views was one of the highlights of our trip. Breakfast each morning was a joy – fresh, varied, and absolutely delicious. The hotel’s location is also perfect: right in the heart of St. Julian’s, close to shops, restaurants, bars, and clubs. Despite its central position, our room was incredibly quiet – the soundproofing is excellent. There's even a casino on-site for those who enjoy a little excitement (not our thing, but still a fun option to have). InterContinental Malta truly offers something for everyone – but for us, as a couple seeking both relaxation and a bit of vibrance, it was the perfect choice. Every detail was designed to help us unwind and enjoy ourselves without ever feeling bored. Excellent hotel, just a few steps from the beach which has a great seafood restaurant, maybe the best in Malta. This is a huge hotel, with a lot of activities for both kids and parents. We were on a 6 day vacation in May and the kids loved the pools, both indoor and outdoor, the play room and the beach. The breakfast was very tasty and there was something for everyone. We really enjoyed the afternoon snacks in the garden while the kids were playing games in the playroom. Everyone is very nice and super helpful however our biggest thanks goes to Katerina, she made our dream holiday come true.

The most amazing staff we have ever experienced, it was my partner’s birthday and they welcomed us with a Prosecco bottle, sweets and even an upgrade on the room, we were really pleasantly shocked as we didn’t expect any of that. The room was neat, clean and really spacious. Even on his birthday all the staff knew and congratulated him that made his birthday even more special. I want to say special thank you to public relations manager Katarina (I’m sorry if I didn’t pronounce it correct) and Amrit and Rahul from the beach club. Malta is our favorite country this far we have visited and that is thanks to the hospitality and great care from your staff.
